摘要

It is well acknowledged that the field of pediatric nutrition is indisputably laced with nurturing. Perhaps that is what called us to learn more about it? As a result, we are entrenched in the maternal child relationship within the context of our work. Birth, breastfeeding, and early nutrition initiate that mother-child as well as father-child relationship. What is suggested is that it is not enough to be the technical masters of our work but to be aware of the mother's and father's mental state surrounding the infant's birth and subsequent feeding. In many cases, not only has the birth been a traumatic experience but the reality of the child's diagnoses or potential mental or physical challenges have left parents
