61Ni Mouml;ssbauer measurements of nickel microprecipitates produced in LaNi5by cyclic hydrogen absorption and desorption

The hydrogen storage material LaNi5has previously been shown to degrade into LaH2and (presumably) Ni metal on repeated absorption and desorption of hydrogen.61Ni Mouml;ssbauer measurements show directly the presence of nickel microprecipitates in severely degraded material.
