A new robotic welding cell with off-line programming reduces production times and gets great results making ancillary equipment for construction machinery. The family-owned Winkelbauer engineering company is based in eastern Styria, Austria, and has been providing customer-specific construction machinery components to the European market for several decades. This growing company has made a name for itself with its high-quality excavator buckets and shovels, and quick-change systems for mini-excavators and large hydraulic construction machinery. In order to rationalise manufacturing and increase production, Winkelbauer invested in a Cloos robotic welding cell with time-saving, off-line programming.
