Sud-chemie to be sold

Munich-based clays and catalysts producer,Sud-Chemie AG looks likely to be sold to a subsidiary of New York's One Equity Partners (OEP) at a price of euro35 per share.Following an agreement with the three main shareholders to acquire 39% of the shares,OEP-owned SC Beteiligungsgesellschaft has submitted a voluntary take-over bid to all remaining shareholders after the offer was approved by Germany's federal financial regulatory authorities in mid-July.
