Kaltun Mining Co.is Turkey's leading producer of feldspar,and sold almost 800,000 tonnes in 2002.Over the past year,the company has invested in new processing technology,and installed a major new flotation line.Although Turkey has abundant reserves of sodium feldspar,efficient utilisation is of great importance-ie.the econoical production of high quality feldspar adn the contribution of inert reserves to Turkey's economy after enrichment processes.
