GCC-a highly functional filler

The principal function of ground calcium carbonate (GCC) is as a filler in a diverse range of end use applications.Depending on the grade used,GCC offers a number of different properties in consuming market.For example,as a low grade filler it provides bulk to carpet backing,medium grades offer both whiteness and brightness as a pigment in paints and coatings,white high grade fine/ultrafine grades act as functional fillers providing more specialised properties to paper,paint,and plastic products.
