Iluka finds new zircon prospect

ILUKA RESOURCES LTD has discovered a further heavy mineral (HM) deposit close to the Jacinth-Ambrosia deposit. The Typhoon Prospect is located approximately 5.5km south-east of its wholly owned Jacinth-Ambrosia zircon-rich mineral sands deposits - located approximately 200km north-west of Ceduna in the Eucla Basin, south Australia - and adjacent to the Colona Joint Venture tenement. One drill traverse has been completed on the Typhoon Prospect, consisting of six drill holes over a 1.5km length, varying from 100 metre to 400 metre centres. This drilling has intersected HM sands over an apparent width of approximately 1,000 metres and up to 21 metres thick. The provisional mineralogy from composited samples indicates an average zircon assemblage of 17 percent (for samples above a cut-off grade of 1 percent HM).
