Cobalt prices dropped last week as most of the producers, consumers and traders polled by MB said they expected the market for metal to drift over the next few weeks. Trading was thin and sellers have had to reduce their numbers to secure business, they told MB. Low-grade cobalt moved down to 19.10-20 dollars per Ib on November 25 from 19.50-20.50 dollars previously, while high-grade fell more steeply, to 20.50-21 dollars per lb from 21.50-22.50 dollars before.
