RESSOURCES D'ARIANNE Inc. (Arianne), a Canadian mining exploration company, has been involved in Quebec's mineral industry since the late 1990s. The company originally acquired the Boileau quartize deposit in 1997 with a view to supplying the local ferro-silicon markets. Preliminary work carried out between 2000 and 2001 revealed that the deposit contains promising prospects for the future production of the mineral. The company, however, is awaiting long term supply contracts before developing the deposit any further. The property is located south of the Saguenay river, about 30km from the town of La Baie, Quebec. Arianne owns several claims on this property, which is composed of seven mining concessions. The deposit where the properly is located is covered by four mining concessions and the possible extension of the deposit is covered by the other three.
