Hitachi Metals signs NdFeB JV with Chinese company

Ltd (BZKSH) of China has signed a joint venture (JV) agreement with Japanese neodymium-iron-boron (NdFeB) magnet industry major, Hitachi Metals Ltd, for the establishment of a production base in China. The project will aim to produce 2,000 tpa sintered NdFeB magnet material at start up, with both companies taking responsibility for sales and marketing of the product.
