Less than three months after signing a letter of intent to acquire 100% of sierra rutile (see im october '04,p.69),wgi heavy minerald announced on 25 october that it would not pursue the transaction.the cause of the deal wihtdrawal is unclear,wiht the decision apparently having been taken"after extensive due diligence"into the potntial acquisition.
