Solvay and Ausimont found Solvay Solexis

After completing the acquisition of Ausimont SpA in May 2002, Solvay Group has merged its fluoropolymers activities with those of Ausimont to launch a new company, Solvay Solexis. The company, which was launched on 1 January 2003, will be a world leader for production and marketing of fluorinated materials for high tech applications.
