E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Co. Inc (DuPont), the world's largest TiO_2 producer, has realigned its businesses into five technology and market focused growth platforms.DuPont, which celebrates its 200~(th) birthday in 2002, has formed DuPont Coatings & Color Technologies, comprising DuPont Performance Coatings and DuPont White Pigments & Mineral Products, which includes TiO_2.DuPont chairman and chief executive officer Charles Holliday said that the realignment is consistent with the company's long-term strategy and direction. Separation into growth platforms will give a tighter focus on technologies and markets, and improve innovation.
