Ticor agrees major investment in Iscor minsands assets

Following a shareholders meeting on 14 February 2001, the shareholders of Ticor Ltd, the Melbourne based resources group, have approved the proposed acquisition of a 40 percent interest in the Iscor Heavy Minerals project (IHM), otherwise known as the Hillendale project.Iscor is itself a 40.5 percent shareholder in Ticor and as a result its representatives were excluded from voting. The largest shareholder after Iscor is the AXA insurance group with a 28.6 percent stake or 47.6 percent of the eligible votes.
