Year in Review 2013: Lithium

Bolivia's first lithium carbonate pilot plant on the edge of the Uyuni salt flats opened its doors in a ceremony attended by president Evo Morales. Canada Lithium signed yet another offtake agteement for its lithium carbonate with an Asian partnet, Japans Marubeni Corp. The agreement was for 5,000 tpa, starting with a minimum 2,000 tpa in 2013, and spans three years.
