摘要

Co-operation was the key theme of IM's 4th Moving Minerals Round-table in December, with speakers and delegates seeking ways of reducing the rising, costs of logistics. The event was held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, a key port in the ARA (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Antwerp) logistics hub feeding sea, road and rail networks with raw materials for western Europe and beyond. At the 2012 roundtable, much of the debate revolved around linking different layers of the industry, from miners and truckers to brokers and shipowners. Last month's event took its cue from these themes and featured presentations from the Port of Amsterdam, Ger-man logistics consultancy Maritime Tecnet and UK-based trade finance specialist, Bolero International.
