Lynas receives TOL for Malaysian plant; anti-LAMP protests continue

Australian rare earths miner Lynas Corp. received its temporary operating licence (TOL) to begin work at the Lynas Advanced Materials Plant (LAMP) in Malaysia at the beginning of September. The Malaysian Atomic Energy Licensing Board (AELB) issued the two-year license to run until 2 September 2014, subject to several conditions.
