摘要

Statistical acceptance inspection by two alternative attributes is considered. The relation of the incoming defect level of the production unit as a whole to the incoming defect levels of individual controlled parameters is discussed. Based on results for a statistic of objects of nonnumerical nature, a method of testing two alternative attributes for independence is proposed. The independence test is done in a set of small-sized samples, that is, in Kolmogorov asymptotics, where the number of unknown distribution parameters increases in proportion to the data size.
