"Asia is headed for a possible mini economic boom that could spread to the rest of the world." "Asia might have just entered the first phase of an important business cycle upswing." These are just two of the bullish comments made by Chen Zhao, senior analyst at BCA Research, in an early September edition of BCA's Emerging Markets Strategy weekly bulletin. Chen will be talking more on this at IM's 5~(th) Chinese Industrial Minerals Conference in Shanghai on 12-14 October. His comments are echoed by other analysts and observers of the Asian markets and will come as welcome news to raw materials suppliers and intermediate mineral consumers that have invested in the growth potential of the Asian markets.
