A new era of economic investment dawns for the land of the midnight sun. Or at least this is the hope and dream of Norway's central government. For the first time in the country's history, Norway has instigated a proactive programme to attract foreign investment. Topping the list of priority industries perceived as potential areas for investment is Norway's stone and minerals industry. To boost its cause and advertise exactly what Norway has to offer, Invest in Norway and the Norwegian Trade Council in London invited interested parties to a special two-day seminar held in the elegant Drapers Hall, in the City of London on 26 and 27 April 1995.
