摘要

THE FINER THE fillers,the better the optical properties of the paints within which they are used.However,Omya's experience in this field shows that fineness is not the only parameter.When particles are ground too fine,they have a strong tendency to agglomerate and to become coarser.In the same way,too fine particles need a lot of binder to,be fully dispersed and it leads to poor mechanical properties such as scrub resistance or porosity.For these reasons,Omya developed new wet and dry grinding processes.
