WGI under cease trade order

On 3 April 2006, the British Columbia Securities Commission imposed a management cease trade order (CTO) on US garnet producer WGI Heavy Minerals Inc. of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho in response to its failure to file its 2005 financial results by 31 March 2006. A management CTO is part of a voluntary process where specific insiders and management are subject to a CTO instead of the company. Under this system other investors are permitted to continue trading the company's securities while a management CTO is in effect. BC authorities may : impose an issuer CTO if WGI does not file financial statements on or before 31 May 2006.
