Atacama takes back iodine project

Atacama Minerals Corp.has reported that it has taken sole control of the board of directors of Atacama Minerals Chile SA and the Aguas Blancas industrial minerals project located in the Atacama desert of northern Chile.The move came after Atacama's partner in the Aguas Blancas project,ACF Minera SA failed to meet its contractual obligations to expand iodine production to 1,500 tpa by 3 September 2004.
