Rare Earths 2014: Industry down, but not out

Rare earths companies are facing some of the worst market conditions in the industry's history, market participants at the 10th International Rare Earths Conference in Singapore glumly acknowledged in November. Speaking on the eve of the conference, hard pressed juniors, miners, processors and buyers agreed that rare earths have been hit particularly hard by the general malaise in the global resource cycle.
