摘要

Cobalt(II) complexes of acenephthaquinonemono(lepidyl)-hydrazone (ALH) of general composition CoL2X2 (where L = ALH and X = C1, Br, OAc, NO3) with the exception of sulphato complex where the composition is found to be CoL2S04H2O) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, magnetic measurements, IR spectra, electronic spectra, conductivity measurements and thermal gravimetric analysis. All the complexes have high-spin six-coordinated octahedral geometries.
