The selection of a CTC bank from any of the three models described would depend on the evaluated best compromise of the following: (a) Closeness of the design principles of the machine in consonance of scientific process as explained earlier. (b) Types, percentages and quality of the product grades favoured by the marketing department of the organisation and degree of suitability of the models w.r.t. the productivity advantage for those products, considering the Green leaf quality. (c) Space requirement, reliability, maintenance requirement, degree of balancing with the existing or intended capacities of other upstream and down-stream process machines, standardisation etc. (d) Price of the equipments and fund/resource capability.
