Weed ID APP - An APP to aid weed identification in the field

A weed identification APP was developed by BASF in collaboration with ADAS, substantially based on Weed Manager, which was developed by ADAS, BASF, Bayer CropScience, Dow AgroSciences, DuPont, HGCA, Rothamsted Research, SAC, Silsoe Research Instituteand Syngenta under the Sustainable Arable LINK (Government sponsor DEFRA). The APP can be used to identify over 140 different weed species, using reference photographs, diagrams and descriptions. Users can search the weed library in a number of interactive ways; through a weed ID filter, by text, or by common or scientific name search. GPS of weed position can be saved.
