Unusual Complication of Medical Abortion-Report of one Interesting Case

The Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act was passed in 1971 to curtail the incidence of illegal abortion and mortality and morbidity as a sequalae. Unfortunately the goal of the act was not achieved. Medical abortion adopted in India in 2003 to minimise the complication of surgical procedure. But the complications are increasing due to non adherence to protocol and procedures and also the availability of the drugs without prescription. We are presenting two cases of unusual complications of medical abortion.
