Activities Area themed around Skilled Craftsmanship As the international meeting point for the shoe sector the GDS -International Event for Shoes & Accessories held in Dusseldorf from 12 to 14 March 2010 will be the place for information, inspiration and exchanging news. In response to the coninued dynamism felt in the sector organisers are now reacting with the implementation of further individual concepts and new ideas for contemporary stand design. After the past seasons' good response to the different segment restructuring concepts into lifestyle worlds, the last event saw these being consolidated still further in several halls, making them even clearer and more coherently arranged. "We are still fine tuning this conceptual approach - which makes the planned re-arrangement and structuring of Hall 4 into different Premium segments at the spring event a further key step on the way to developing the individual lifestyle worlds," explained GDS Director Kirstin Deutelmoser.
