Dr.K ELANGOVAN.IAS has assumed the charge as the Executive Director of the Council For Leather Exports with effect from the 5th October 2005.Indian Leathers offers a warm welcome and best wishes for a successful! tenure as E.D of CLE.It is indeed happy augury to note that according to the figures of DGCI & S,the export performance of the leather industry in the first four months of this year 2005-06 has already touched a figure of over US 804 Millions,recording a growth rate of 5.56% over that of the corresponding period of the prevous year 2004-05.
