Bio-efficacy of haloxyfop on soybean and associated weeds

Field experiment was conducted during rainy seasons of 2000 and 2001 to evaluate the efficacy of haloxyfop on soybean and associated weeds. Haloxyfop at 75 and 100 g ha~(-1) had better weed control efficacy than at 25 and 50 g ha~(-1). Early application of this herbicide (14 DAS) was more effective than delayed application. Grain yield at 75 and 100 g ha~(-1) applied at 14 DAS was at par with weed free treatment. Yields due to trifluralin at 1.2 kg ha~(-1) and alachlor at 2.5 kg ha~(-1) were similarto that of haloxyfop at 75 and 100 g ha~(-1) applied 14 DAS.
