Synthesis of an alternating ethylene-p-chlorostyrene copolymer

摘要

The synthesis of an alternating ethylene-p-chlorostyrene copolymer is performed in the presence of a homogeneous Ziegler-Natta catalytic system constituted of rac-(isopropylidene)bis(1-indenyl)zirconium bis(dimethylamide) and methylaluminoxane. An isotactic arrangement of the p-chlorostyrene units is observed.
