Five years after being removed from display at the RAF Museum London, the world's only complete Hawker Typhoon, MklB MN235, was reassembled in the main display hall at the Hendon site at the end of November. During November 2013, MN235 was moved from Hendon to Cosford to be repainted with the codes I8-T, to represent a Typhoon of No 440 Squadron, Royal Canadian Air Force, before being air-freighted to Canada for loan to the Canada Aviation and Space Museum at Rockcliffe, Ottawa. It arrived back at Liverpool docks on 12 April 2018 and spent the summer on loan to BAE Systems/RAF Coningsby, being displayed in the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight hangar at Coningsby.
