LANXESS SHOCASES WATER TREATMENT SOLUTIONS AT THE WATER EXPO 2016 IN CHENNAI

LANXESS, the global speciality chemicals company, has showcased it's ion exchange resins and membrane technologies at Water Today's Water Expo 2016, with a special focus on introducing novel reverse osmosis (RO) elements from its Lewabrane~R product line that display improved performance along with the launch of a new software module for LewaPlus~R design software. A special type of Lewatit~R Ion Exchange Resin is used as an organic scavenger for the reduction of COD and Color of the treated effluent in various industries, for example, Textile, Tannery, Electroplating etc. A working model using Lewatit~R Ion Exchange resin Lewatit(R) S- 6368A was displayed at the booth demonstrated the color removal of the treated industrial effluent.
