A comparative evaluation of the sorption of acid and dispersed dyes on a polyamide fabric in the presence of oxidation-reduction agents

The sorption of acid and dispersed dyes on a nylon-6 fabric in the presence of redox agents is evaluated by a rapid method (based on the use of the Gurevich - Kubelka - Munk equation) and a spectrophotometric method for dissolved dyed specimens. The rapid method for evaluation of the sorption of dyes by fibrous materials has a potential, along with other methods, for practical application; advantages of this method are discussed.
