1-(2-Hydroxy-5-Nitrophenyl)-3-Isopropyl-5-(2-Benzoxazolyl)- Formazan: an Analytical Reagent of Photometric and Extractive-Photometric Determination of Sc

摘要

Methods of electron- and IR-spectroscopy are used to study complex formation of 1-(2-hydroxy-5-nitrophenyl)-3-isopropyl-5-(2-benzoxazolyl) formazan with Sc (III) ions. It is shown that this compound can be used as an analytical reagent for photometric and extractive-photometric determination of Sc (III). An emphasis is made on high selectivity of formazan regarding Sc (III) with a number of metals present.
