BRAZIL REMOVES IMPORT DUTY ON SHEEP SKINS AND GOAT SKINS

Brazilian Chamber for Foreign Trade (CAMEX) has allowed import of sheep skins and goat skins duty-free into the country. The tanneries in the north and north eastern regions of the country have a combined processing capacity of 12 million skins per year, but production does not exceed 7 million skins due to want of raw material.
