REACH - A NEW EU REGULATORY FRAMEWORK FOR CHEMICAL COMES INTO FORCE ON 1,JUNE 2007

The European Union has finalised the new REACH regulation (Registration Evaluation,Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals).Replacing some 40 current legislative instruments,the controversial legislation comes into force on 1 June,2007 with a Central European body facilitating its administration and ensuring uniform application across the EU.
