Total 827 dogs (489 males and 338 females) were examined and 41 (4.95%) were found positive for cystitis by various diagnostic methods. The cases were more in Mathura (18.41%) followed by Kanpur (8.82%), Lucknow (8.21%) and Pantnagar (3.66%). The prevalence was more in females above 6 yr and males of 3-6 yr age.
