Antibiotic sensitivity pattern of bovine field isolates of Pasteurella multocida.

摘要

An antibiotic sensitivity test was performed on 31 isolates of Pasteurella multocida collected from bovine cases of haemorrhagic septicaemia in the Tarai region of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand to determine the sensitivity pattern of the bacteria in the region. Many of the isolates were found to have multiple drug resistance, and enrofloxacin was found to be the most effective drug among all the antibiotics used in this study.
