Corneal opacification is not uncommon in canine trypanosomiasis. The present report deals with a case of acute glaucoma with corneal opacity in concurrent trypansomiasis in a dog. An 8 yr old spitz male dog was presented at Veterinary Clinics of P.A.U., Ludhiana with bilateral corneal opacity and engorged episcleral vessels. Clinical examination revealed normal temperature (100.8°F), normal pelpebral and corneal reflexes and a negative menace reflex. Intraocular pressure was 53 mm of Hg in both theeyes. The blood picture, on the day of referral was non-committal (haemoglobin-13.2 g/dl, TLC- 81 do/Hi, neutrophil- 70%, lymphocyte- 30% and no haemoprotozoan parasite). Conjunctival swab yielded no growth.
