Recurrent tympany in a mithun (Bos frontalis) - a case report

摘要

Secondary ruminal tympany (free-gas bloat) usually occurs due to failure of eructation of free gas because of physical interference with eructation (Radostits et al., 1994). A case of recurrent tympany in a mithun (Bos frontalis) is presented in the present communication which is probably the first record of recurrent tympany in mithun in India.
