The mid-sulphur market remained insulated from the sharp declines in the high-sulphur market this week, as some buyers in Turkey need to replenish stocks despite the bearish atmo-sphere for coke pricing. Although sellers are pushing for higher prices because of rising freight rates and continued tight supply of mid-sulphur coke, buyers are looking for a knock-on effect from the high- sulphur market declines.
