Ku-band MMIC phase shifter using internal switched filter

摘要

A phase shifter using the filter which changes circuit operation by FET was developed. This circuit changes T type circuit to a high path filter and through by using as an open channel at pinch-off FET which constitutes a filter. Since a phase shifter can be constituted from a few circuit element, this circuit has advantageous to miniaturizing die size. The fabricated 5 bit MMIC phase shifter in Ku-band have demonstrated small phase shift error characteristics of 3.5 degree rms by die size 2.27 mm×0.85 mm.
