Double contrast cystography for diagnosis of urocystolithiasis in a female dog.

A 3-year-old female German Shepherd dog with a history of haematuria and stranguria is presented at the College Hospital. Urocystolithiasis diagnosis was confirmed by double contrast radiography. A mid-ventral laparotomy followed by cystotomy was performed in the animal. A bilaterally flattened off-white oval cystolith with a rough surface was removed during the surgery. The animal recovered uneventfully after the surgery.
