Maintenance of endothermic gas generators

Endothermic gas generators are fairly complex pieces of equipment. For this reason, the maintenance of the generator and proper operation of its safety systems insures that quality gas is produced and the equipment is operating under safeconditions. This article, from The Quench Press, a publication of Lindberg Heat Treating Co., T&MS Division, Charlotte, NC, describes some of the various components used in endothermic gas generators, along with the maintenance issues associated with theindividual components.
