Temperature Processing Co., Inc., located in New Jersey and Colorado, specializes in custom heat-treating and offers quality processing with individual attention and special care for its customers' needs. It is a third generation, family-owned business in continuous operation since 1940. The Longmont, Co., facility, located approximately 30 miles north of Denver, was established in 1968 on a farm as the second spin-off from the original company in New Jersey. It provides commercial and specialized metal heat treating. Four buildings, consisting of approximately 10,000 ft~2, house the certified aerospace, nuclear, medical and AMS heat-treating equipment. The New Jersey corporation continues to operate as a specialized heat treating shop with ion nitriding capability. The first spin-off in 1952 established Owego Heat Treat Inc., in Apalachin, N.Y. It, too, continues in operation.
