Chevron cuts marketer Visa, AmEx rates for 2006

Chevron has become the first major to negotiate a cut in bank card processing fees for its marketers, Oil Express has learned. Effective Jan. 1, Chevron- and Texaco-branded marketers saw processing fees for Visa cards cut to 1.95, plus 10cts per transaction, a .5 reduction from the previous of 2.0 plus 10cts.
