摘要

Intravenous anesthesia is the time tested method of inducing anesthesia. Several drugs has been tried as IV anesthetic agent for IV anesthesia and its effects has been evaluated separately. Total intra venous anesthesia is the technique of General Anesthesia by infusion where no inhalational agents are used. It has rapid return of consciousness with less respiratory complication. Propofol is an oil in water emulsion containing soyabeen oil 10% Glycerol 2.5% & egg-lecithine 1.25 %. . this infusion may create excessive lipoid load and hyperlipidemia. The basic objective of this study is compare 1% Propofol with 2% Propofol regarding maximum and minimum lipid level during TIVA.
