Fibulobasidium: a new genus in the Sirobasidiaceae

A new genus and species,Fibulobasidium inconspicuum, is described in the Sirobasidiaceae. The basidia of the species are terminally single or develop in clusters through expansion of successive clamp loops. The incompatibility system is similar to that ofTremellaandSirobasidiumspecies that have been studied.
